About Me
I’m Lichelle (she/her), Director, Consultant and Coach at Neuroinclusive Solutions. I specialise in inclusion and harm prevention, which essentially means I’m a wellbeing improver.
My consulting and coaching business might be new, but the work behind it isn’t. For more than twenty years, I’ve been supporting people and organisations to solve problems, design better systems, and create positive change.
Work Experience
I’ve worked in frontline, management, governance, and senior advisory roles across government and community organisations, with a strong focus on creating innovative and practical solutions that make a positive difference.
I’ve worked in the mental health and justice sectors, where neurodivergence is common. My roles involved working alongside neurodivergent people, and designing, developing, and delivering interventions, as well as improving environments and processes to meet the needs of a diverse range of people.
Study and Learning
I gained a psychology degree from the University of Canterbury, and in 2019 I completed further study in psychology and crime at Victoria University. I am also ICAgile Certified, have Lean Certification, and in 2025 I completed a GenAI micro-credential.
Since 2021, I’ve been exploring neuroscience and neurodivergence in depth. This has included supporting postgraduate research on neurodiversity and education, and developing an original neuroscience theory that I presented to a professor at Stanford University.
Lived Experience
This work is deeply relatable to me because I’m neurodivergent. The way my brain is wired gives me a heightened awareness of details, moods, and environments, and helps me make unique connections.
Drawing on this foundation of professional experience, study, and personal insight, I am able to formulate ideas and solutions that are innovative and realistic.

I’m driven by creating equitable experiences for ākonga/learners who have traditionally been overlooked – including neurodivergent, disabled, and second‑chance ākonga. With a Master’s degree in neurodiversity and vocational education, and over ten years of experience advising ākonga, I focus on supporting people to achieve their academic goals and success on their own terms. I’m known for producing and delivering high‑quality evidence‑based work, being precise, reflective, and solutions‑focused.
My role at Neuroinclusive Solutions includes research, quality assurance, peer review, and advice.
Collaborators
We collaborate with a small network of specialists whose expertise complements our own. This includes practitioners and researchers we draw on when a project requires knowledge or solutions outside our scope, as well as neurodivergent individuals who can contribute to the process by checking how accessible and usable something is from their lived perspective.
This collaborative model strengthens the accuracy, accessibility, and real‑world relevance of the work we deliver.
